Attractor Factor – Part 2- Networking

Networking

Business owners share their ideas
It’s good to network with other business owners

Whether it’s chatting in the pub, on the golf course, in Zumba class or formal networking, talking to people about what you do is a good way of attracting new customers and improving your confidence

You can improve your customer base by using a variety of marketing avenues so along with advertising in Your Local Dragon directory, and using Facebook & distributing flyers you might want to consider ‘getting out there’ in other ways

Business networking groups include  BNI and Chamber of Commerce – and less formal local groups such as Free2Network and Bay of Colwyn Business Club

If you’re lucky enough you might even have local events run by the FSB . (Federation of Small Businesses)

On Anglesey and around the Bangor area, the opportunities for formal networking seem to be few and far between.

Today the Dragons will be at Carreg Mon in Llanfairpg attending a Free2Network event. Sometimes it’s good to meet just a few people and get to know them – other times the buzz of meeting many can help boost your energy & enthusiasm.  I wonder how many other business owners will be there…
